ACCOUNT

Account and subscription

Get help with registration, sign-in, subscription access, configuration updates and device changes. A subscription is an account credential and should be retrieved and managed through the user panel.

Does registering for YsVPN require an email address?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Your username is an important credential for signing in to the user panel, so choose a recognizable name that you do not reuse with other services and keep your password secure. After registration, you can view plans, get clients and manage your subscription from the user panel.
Where can I find my subscription after purchase?
Sign in to the user panel and open Account Overview or the Client area to retrieve your current subscription by following the on-page instructions. Marketing pages do not display real subscription URLs or provide direct links to static installers. When copying a subscription, keep the entire URL intact and do not manually remove or edit its parameters, or the client may be unable to read the route list.
How do I update my subscription URL?
When the route list changes, use the client’s Update Subscription or Refresh Configuration feature first. If old routes still appear, delete the local configuration, retrieve the subscription again from the user panel and import it. Button locations vary by platform, but the sequence is the same: verify the subscription source, refresh the configuration, select a route again and test the connection.
Do I need to buy again when I change devices?
You do not need to buy again when changing devices. YsVPN supports unlimited simultaneously connected devices, including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Sign in to the user panel on the new device to get the appropriate client and subscription. A subscription is an account credential, so do not share it with untrusted people or publish it on a public page.
What should I do if my username or password is always rejected?
First check for extra spaces and make sure you are using the username created during registration, not login details from another service. If your browser saved an old password, clear autofill and enter it again. If you still cannot sign in, describe the account issue through the ticket entry in the user panel so support can verify it against the account record.
CONNECT

Connection and troubleshooting

First distinguish between local network, client configuration and individual app issues, then change settings one at a time. Adjusting several things at once makes the problem harder to locate.

The client says it is connected, but webpages will not open. What should I do?
Disconnect first and confirm that your local network can access webpages normally, then reconnect and try another route. If only the browser is affected, fully quit and reopen it. If no applications can connect, check the client’s proxy mode, network permissions and system time. Change one setting at a time so you can identify whether the issue comes from the local network, client settings or the current route.
Why is a particular app not using the proxy?
Some applications use separate network components or are affected by the client’s routing rules and system network permissions. First check whether other apps can connect through the current route, then see whether the target app is configured for direct connection or excluded. Next switch the client’s proxy mode, restart the target app and test again. If the issue affects only that app, also check its region, account and network settings.
The subscription imported successfully, but the route list is empty. What should I do?
First make sure you copied the complete subscription provided in the user panel, not the marketing page URL from the browser address bar. Then run Update Subscription in the client and check that the current plan is active. If the list is still empty after refreshing, delete the configuration and import it again. Do not manually combine, shorten or forward subscription parameters, as the client may receive content it cannot recognize.
How should I troubleshoot frequent connection drops?
Frequent disconnections usually require checking local network switching, device sleep, background execution limits and route status separately. Keep the client running normally in the background, temporarily disable settings that repeatedly switch networks, and test another regional route. If disconnections occur only after sleep, focus on the system’s background permissions for the client. If the issue continues, include the platform, route and conditions in a support ticket.
How do I get the client for my platform?
YsVPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Sign in to the user panel, open the Client area, choose the entry for your platform and import the subscription as instructed. Clients and subscriptions are delivered through the user panel. The Help Center does not provide static installer URLs, helping prevent outdated files or incorrect configurations.
ROUTES

Speed and routes

Choose routes based on your destination, exit region and current local network. Latency, download speed and content region are separate issues that need to be tested independently.

What is the best order for choosing a route?
Start by choosing an appropriate exit region for the content you want to access, then compare real connection performance on your current network. A nearby route is not necessarily suitable for every service, and content platforms may determine what you see based on the exit region. Connect to a commonly used route in the target region, test webpages, video or apps, then switch to another route in the same region if needed for stability.
What should I do about peak-hour slowdowns?
Pause bandwidth-heavy downloads, sync jobs and video tasks, and confirm that your local network is not handling large transfers at the same time. Then switch to another route in the same target region and reopen the affected service for testing. If several regions are slow, disconnect the client to compare with the local network and restart your network equipment. Include the platform, your location, target service and symptoms in a ticket to narrow down the cause.
Why is downloading still slow when latency is low?
Latency measures request round-trip time; it does not equal sustained transfer capacity. Download speed can also be affected by local access, cross-border links, limits on the destination server, client mode and other simultaneous tasks. Test webpage responsiveness and sustained downloads separately, rather than judging a route by one latency reading. For large-file transfers, compare the stability of different routes in the same region.
Streaming connects, but the content region is wrong. What should I do?
First confirm that the selected exit region matches the target content region, then fully quit the streaming app or close the relevant webpages before reopening them. App cache, account region and the platform’s own rules can all affect what is displayed. If routes in the same region behave differently, refresh the subscription and try another route. A successful connection only means the network is reachable; it does not guarantee that the platform will use the selected exit region.
Which regions and routes does YsVPN cover?
YsVPN covers 90+ countries / 200+ routes. Refer to the user panel and Global Nodes page for the currently available regions and routes. Choose routes based on what you need to access rather than the total count: use the relevant exit region for region-specific content, and compare connection stability on your current network for everyday browsing.
Route tip: Choose the exit region based on your target content, then compare routes within that region. To review coverage, visit the Global Nodes page.
BILLING

Billing and refunds

Monthly subscriptions and data packs follow different data rules. Before paying or changing plans, check the tier, order and processing result shown in the user panel.

What monthly subscription tiers are available?
Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. The main difference between tiers is the monthly data allowance. Choose based on your video, download, sync and multi-device usage. Data on all monthly subscriptions resets each month on the activation date; check the user panel for the current plan status.
When does monthly data reset, and how is an upgrade calculated?
Monthly data resets each month on the activation date rather than clearing on the first day of the calendar month. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. Before upgrading, check the current plan, remaining data and the result shown in the user panel, then confirm the change so the data reset date is not confused with the calendar billing month.
Do data packs expire?
Data packs remain available until used and never expire. Available tiers are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Data packs suit users with irregular usage who prefer to consume data as needed, while monthly subscriptions reset each month on the activation date. The two billing models follow different rules, so consider your usage pattern before choosing.
Which payment methods are supported?
YsVPN supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. When placing an order, use the payment option shown on the user panel’s checkout page, then return to the panel after payment to check the order status. Do not transfer funds based on text in a Help Center article or provide payment details on pages outside the panel. If the order status does not update, keep the order record and ask through a support ticket.
How do I request a refund?
YsVPN offers 60-day refunds. To apply, sign in to the user panel and submit a refund request through the ticket entry, including the relevant order and your request, then follow the ticket response. Before submitting, check the order status and payment record and keep the order information in the panel so support can locate the transaction accurately.
